- (a) Post in the relevant forum
- Members are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Members who consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.
(b) Respect other members
- Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing other members in any way(including using improper word(s)) will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. If you have problem with another member, please solve it in a friendly way or bring it to a moderator's attention.
Members should not disclose your own and other members' real life personal information and contacts such as IC numbers, handphone numbers, house address, etc. Doing so will be warned.
(c) Respect the copyright of others
- Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Members linking, quoting or re-posting information, articles, tutorials, etc. which is/are not by the member him/herself, from any other places, without linking to original topic or give credit where and who it is due, will be given a warning and their post will be removed.
(d) Do not spam
- Always make sure your post make sense and is relevant and contributory to the thread's subject. Members who fail to do so or posting short messages with no useful or irrelevant information will receive a warning.
Double-posting which refers to posting more than two or more times in a row is also considered as spam. Members consistently doing so will lead to a warning. Use the Edit feature if you want to add something.
(e) Do not post explicit or inappropriate content
- Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic, racism, sexual harassment and preference or generally offensive or violent text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will be warned.
(f) Do not act as "moderator"
- Members are asked not to act as "moderators". If members note any bad post or breach of MyPSC Rules, do not respond to such topics yourself. Use the "post report" feature to report posts or contact a moderator properly.
(g) Post in a "normal writing" way
- This means members should not excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. or use ALL CAPITALIZE letters or excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Members consistently abusing this will be warned.
(h) Post in proper English
- Members should remember that the only language used in this board is English. Members should not use improper, unncessary or so call SMS shortforms(e.g. noe, nv, jz, nd, vry, nt, etc.), Rojak language(mixture of 2 or more different languages, e.g. terpost, very fun de, etc.) and excessive dialectal typing(e.g. lo, lah, meh, hor, etc.) in topic titles or posts. Members consistently abusing this will also be warned.
(i) ONE(1) member ONE(1) account only
- Members are not allowed to hold and post with more than one account. If members are caught posting more than one account, the other less active account will be ban permanently and members may receive a warning. Do not share your account with others. You are responble to protect your account password.
(j) Do not revive old threads unnecessarily
- Do not post in old threads(threads that have no reply for 1 month or more) unless you have something important or that has not mentioned before to post.
2. Images Rules
- (a) Avatars
- Members are to use a gallery avatar or link to one of their own. User defined avatars are to be no larger than 100 x 150px(Width x Height in pixels).
(b) Signatures
- Signatures may contain up to 5 lines of text(of small or normal size) and one image of no larger than 500 x 200px(Width x Height in pixels) and 150KB in size. Multiple images in signature are allowed but still, must not exceed area of 500 x 200px(Width x Height in pixels) and 150KB in accumulative size.
(c) Posting images
- Members are not allowed to direct display image larger than 600 x 800px(Width x Height in pixels). If images are larger than 600 x 800px, please resize them before post or use links or thumbnails.
Do not quote large images as well to minimize load time. Please remove the IMG tag before posting with quote or use Hide/Spoiler tag.
(d) Rule 1(e) is applied to all Images Rules.
The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Disrespecting any of the rules above and abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings. Permanent warning will be given for serious cases. Permanent warning means the warning will stay in your profile forever.
Members who receive more than 3 permanent warnings will be suspended or banned permanently. There might be exceptional case where one will be suspended or banned without 3 permanent warnings.
