PSquare VX tutorial

Postby BloorA on November 17th, 2008, 9:53 pm

I made this mod with the intentions of making a Malaysian version of the Grip Aviaire, but I came up with this instead.

-PSquare Vortex, or PSquare VX for short
-18.5cm
-Around the same weight as a G3MX
-Double-sided
-Non writable, sadly
-Easy to make

Tutorial:

Parts needed:
Image
2 Papermate Kilometrico Sport 2/ Papermate Pacer / Papermate Expressions
2 G1/G3/Signo tips
2 Grips of your choice ( I used G2 grips)

Image
Disassamble the two Papermate pens as shown. Discard/put away the parts crossed out.

Image
Take out the grips from the Papermate pen. File down the screw of one of the things where the grip used to be so that it can fit into the unthreaded side of the papermate pen.

Image
Take the two things where the grips used to be and screw the tips onto it. Then, place your grips of choice onto the thing.

Image
Place the two things with your tips and grips onto the body. Note: the part with screws fi8led down goes into the unthreaded side and vice versa.

*OPTIONAL STEPS*
-Place a middle grip
-Wrap an outsert around the body for looks

End product:

wth middle grip-

Thank you and enjoy spinning your new mod!

What do you don't understand? File the screw part of one of the plastic front tip, then put the filed 1 into the end of the barrel which is without screw(where the original back cap should be).

I was just wondering, will the part with screws filed down fit well into the unthreaded side of the barrel or do i need something to keep it in place?

honestly, I dont recommend anyone making this mod anymore, the barrel can crack really easily, making this not a good mod ^^

and the part with the filed-down screws should stay pretty fit, if you didn't file down too much. what makes that part fit into the unthreaded part is the tension between the body and that part, which makes it all the more vulnerable to breaking.
